The U-ACT Recovery Coaching & Facilitation Team all bring a diverse coaching and training style to the container. Individually they are all passionate about the work that they do, and as a team they work together to help individuals, families, communities and organisations develop resources to empower and uplift those facing substance abuse & addictive behaviour disorders.
They are all committed to the UBUNTU ADDICTION COMMUNITY TRUST’s mandate to TRAIN – EMPOWER -TREAT, sharing their knowledge, passion, experience and culture with the individuals and groups that they coach and train.
All the U-ACT facilitators have gone through an experiential training and assessment process. All of the facilitators have lived experience in different areas and they are encouraged to bring their unique experiences into the live and online classrooms to enrich the training.
Over the last twelve months the U-ACT team completed training in Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand and the UK. In South Africa the team trains predominantly in Johannesburg and Cape Town, as well as travelling to other areas in the country to deliver bespoke community and organisational training. All the facilitators also offer coaching & training through U-ACT’s Online School.
