Recovery Wellness Outpatient Programme
Facilitator Training for Certified Coaches
Facilitator Training for Certified Coaches
The Recovery Wellness Programme is a 21-day peer support, adult education coaching programme that has been developed to holistically address recovery by concentrating on the spirit, body and mind. The programme was developed based on the premise that there are Multiple Pathways to Recovery, and our role as coaches is to aid and assist individuals in developing their personal recovery that best suits their lives.
The programme is a professionally facilitated adult education, peer support and recovery coaching group. Although there might be elements of other mutual-aid groups within the programme, it is not a 12-step programme.
The facilitator’s role is to act as an accountability partner, and hold the container for the individuals and the group to explore their experiences, beliefs and feelings around the issues and experiences they encounter in their daily lives and personal recovery.
The manual that accompanies the programme has a theoretical element, which is covered during the sessions, but the exercises and activities are undertaken on an independent, self-study basis.
